Adware Cleaner - Remove Adware, Spyware, and Restore Your Browser App Reviews

Based on the description this should be a malware remover. It’s not! I paid for this since I do not trust free products, but I was wrong. I’m still getting popups even when I do not use my browser! Is it that hard to remove a malware these days with a paid app?

It doesn’t tell me where it was located for some files removed, but it removed my MacKeeper problem. Seems like things are back to normal and no more MacKeeper problems. removed Trovi search adware too which kept redirecting my web browser for every search. was super annoying. finally goes to google for my searches! update: after using this app for a couple months, i ended up somehow getting more adware on my system. i noticed that sometimes i need to completely clear my extensions from the settings menu or parts of adware stay on my machine.

Wasted 10 dollars. installed and ran, didn’t do a thing to remove the ad virus on my chrome browser.

Suspected I had some Malware/adware on my Mac because I noticed much more advertising and a banner add splattered all over the websites I visit. I know I could have probably found some freeware to check for malware/adware but its hard to trust freeware these days. Free always costs sombody something. Installed and ran this app and in about 25 seconds the sweep was complete. As I suspected it found adware and removed it. As it asked, I rebooted and opened safari on the exact same website and the banner add was gone. Easy to install, very easy to use and it works. I’m very confident this software is doing a good job and I use it about one a week now. It was worth every penny.

Once I discovered that computer had “adware” and not a “virus,” I realized the virus scanners in the App Store didn’t have what I needed. In fact, before I found this app, I downloaded an app that said it would clean my computer from viruses, malware and adware. It was highly rated. But when I ran the scan it didn’t find anything! So I decided to purchase this app since it specifically said it was for Adware. It found the adware in less than a minute. Removal was super easy. I highly recommend this product.

Seems to work just fine in a short amount of time!

I guess it cleans up some adware but I’m still having problems with safari extensions. Amazon.com for ex. is cluttered with sales ads..

Had some issue with my Mac. Pop-ups like popcorn and other weighted tings that made my browser slow. Did a test and everything eliminated. Good first try!

Tried to run Adware cleaner - keep getting message Adware Cleaner needs approval to run this file (documents, etc). don’t know how to give Adware cleaner approval. Tried to send email message to get help - got message that I don’t have proper server. instructions not very good. will still keep trying to get the program to work.
